Thank God, the animation team plugged up that plot hole today. TS’s activation of his evolved Asura Hell was cool af! That is what I meant by the power of the Asura God! They have finally done justice to one of the most powerful God Kings in the DD universe!

Nope, in DD3.5, TS is still the most powerful, only towards the middle half of DD4 that the author switched his tone.
Before that, Dragon God was defeated by the Asura God and was even split in half.

Later when the author expanded the story of Xuanyu (TS’s grandson), Dragon God suddenly became so powerful that it’s the only Dragon God in the whole universe. The author explained that regardless of which galaxy, Xuanyu rules over all dragons and dragon galaxies which makes him the most powerful god in the universe once he managed to upgrade his Pegasus Divine Realm to a Divine Star.

Long story short, at the end of DD4, Xuanyu went berserk trying to inherit the Dragon God power and it took TS with 11 other God kings to subdue him. When Xuanyu finally regained his consciousness, his power was already on par with TS but when he fully inherits and integrates all the Dragon God’s power, he will ultimately become the most powerful god in the universe.

However we all know the author is not going to let that happen. He wrote himself into a corner by giving so many insane plot armours to Xuanyu that he had no choice but to restart the story of TS. That is the reason why DD5 (which is still ongoing) tells about the rebirth of TS and his accumulation of power from the beginning again. I’m currently reading DD5 and they have already published 5/28 books.

It’s almost without a doubt that TS will be more powerful than Xuanyu in the end because he’s currently in a galaxy with so much energy that Douluo and Pegasus Divine Realm pale in comparison. But the world TS lives in, humans are slaves to all kinds of beasts and monsters, so our boy is going to be the salvation of the human race and rules over all humans and beasts in the end whereas Xuanyu only rules over the dragons.

As predicted, the highlights of this ep were TS's evolved domains. As for XW 8-stage dropping him up the last steps...I think you can guess where I 'stand' on that . I couldn't help but laugh and hold onto the family jewels through it LOL--the cheese wasn't as strong as her kicks, but almost 😂. The real hero imo was Rong Rong: the sacrifice she made for TS went well beyond what was shown here, in the novel. As YT Addict explained last week, she was emitting heart blood onto her Pagoda, thereby intensifying its power but putting her life in extreme danger.

Next trial is a fun one. They'll be facing a POWERFUL new opponent, but a central figure in their development and eventual good friend/ally.

Btw, agreed with your statement on Rong Rong. Unfortunately her highlight was overshadowed by XW’s 8-stage-drop. Her scene was literally 3 secs if at all. That 3-secs XW already kicked TS up 9 steps LOL!!

So how many trails are there in sea God island? Like it has already been 1year and if there are 9 test as I understand that will be 9 years man!!!

Here’s the spoiler: The first 3 tests/trials took one year each which way too long imo. Then they sped up the 4th trial which is the most interesting and exciting. The 5th, 6th and 7th trial were completed in a matter of weeks.

Altogether they spent 4+ years on the island and when they returned to the continent, TS was 25 years old and became the youngest Titled Douluo (grand soul master) in the history of DD.

The terms are all different depending on which anime website you use. In the novel, the English translation is Titled Douluo being the highest between 90-99. But on the Tencent YouTube videos which is the producer of the anime, they call it Grand Soul Master.

Nope, no such thing in the LN. I know the manhua has a huge following but the fans of the LN could never stand the manhua because it changed a lot of things and toned down the whole adult genre. One of the best examples is this:

I’ve seen tons of comments from fans who have read the manhua said they gave up half way because it’s just too vanilla for their likings.

Another reason I stayed away from the manhua is that there were people telling me they made XW even more childish and dictating. I already couldn’t stand the mild version of XW in the LN, if I were to read an even more extreme XW in the manhua, I’m afraid I’d vomit blood (as they always do in Chinese fiction).

Btw, the anime follows the LN, not the manhua. It’s quite a faithful adaptation, I’d say, it follows the LN up to 95% accuracy.

I felt the need to hide from TS here he is scary and i feel bad for when they do return even though from the look of things it will be years.

Nope, you’re not missing anything bro! You got it spot on! The author is literally “bunny ass-pulling”! The thing is, her invisible golden body and nothingness are no longer her power! Actually nothingness was not her original power, it’s TS’s 6th ring ability.

All her power has gone into his soul ring and soul bone. But her soul is able to pull whatever power she needs at anytime. She can go corporeal when TS invokes his 6th ring but here she inhabited her human body and started ass-kicking TS. The author actually wrote that once she’s back in her body, all her previous abilities can be used again. Talk about deus ex-machina!

The contradiction here is just absurd because it was made clear after she died, TS has to donate all his 9 rings to her in order to resurrect her. If he didn’t give her his power, she would not regain her previous abilities. But here, her soul clearly still retains all her previous abilities and even part of TS’s! ** I know there’s a plot twist later with the Sea God’strident but it really seems as if the author is just ass-pulling out of thin air as he writes.

My advice is: Brace yourself! It gets even more ridiculous later. Or maybe try to fall in love with XW, then everything is justified!

Read the Light Novel, this is the very original version written by the author >10 years ago. The anime/donghua follows the LN not the manhua. Btw, the manhua is not even up to date anymore. It's now lagging behind the anime in terms of storyline. Google bluesilvertranslations for the English translation of the LN. But of course, if you want some light kiddish fun, then read the manhua.
